Keya Akter, Class 3

Kaliganj 2 Government Primary School

Keya and her younger brother live in a small village of Panchagarh with their parents and grandparents. Her father has been permanently disabled since getting into a workplace accident recently and is unable to work. Her mother, Soniya, takes care of them and works in nearby houses to provide for the family.

Mohona Akter, Class 5

Kaliganj 2 Government Primary School

Mohona and her older brother live in a small village of Panchagarh with their mother. Her father passed away from a stroke when she was a baby, leaving her mother to take care of them by herself. Her mother, Yearun, works in nearby houses to provide for the family.

Senha Akter, Class 2

Kaliganj 2 Government Primary School

Senha lives in a small village of Panchagarh with her grandparents and three uncles. Her parents separated when she was a baby and left to start new families of their own. Her grandmother, Maleka, takes care of her and works in a nearby tea stall to provide for the family.

Shahid Mondol, Class 4

Joykrishno Bolohori Government Primary School

Shahid and his sister live in a small village of Panchagarh with their mother. His father passed away recently from lung disease related complications. His mother, Shaheda, takes care of them and works as a vegetable farmer to provide for the family.

Nuri Akter, Class 5

Magura Barpatia Government Primary School

Nuri and her younger sister live in a small village of Panchagarh with their parents. Her parents are both mentally challenged from birth and unable to work. Her mother, Kulsum, takes care of them and depends on the donations of extended family members to provide for them financially.

Bijoya Rani, Graduating batch 2026

Magura Prodhanpara Government Primary School

Bijoya and her younger brother live in a small village of Panchagarh with their mother. Her father passed away from blood cancer when she was a baby, leaving her mother to take care of them by herself. Her mother, Lipi, works as a day laborer breaking stones to provide for the family.

Scholarship Eligibility

Only students who are currently enrolled in Government Primary Schools and fall under any
of the following criteria are eligible to apply
for scholarships

Disabled Father

Student's father is physically unable to work

Single Mother

Student's father is deceased or has abandoned the family

Orphan

Both parents are deceased or have abandoned the child
