Asha Moni, Class 2

Kaliganj 2 Government Primary School

Asha and her younger sister live in a small village of Panchagarh with their parents. Her father is physically disabled as he was born both deaf and mute and is unable to work. Her mother, Asiya, takes care of them and works on farms as a day laborer to provide for the family.

Shalgara Government Primary School

Madhobi lives in a small village of Thakurgaon with her parents and older sister. Her father is physically disabled as he suffers from Epilepsy and is unable to work. Her mother, Tultuli, takes care of them and works in nearby houses to support the family.

Mohammad Golap, Class 3

Shalgara Government Primary School

Golap lives in a small village of Thakurgaon with his maternal uncle, aunt and grandparents. His mother passed away when he was a baby due to an undiagnosed illness, while his father left soon afterwards and does not keep in touch. His grandmother, Rabeya, takes care of him and depends on his uncle, who works on nearby fields as a day laborer to support the family.

Mishori and her two younger sisters live in a small village of Panchagarh with their grandparents. Her parents separated when she was a baby and left to start new families of their own. Her grandfather, Nazrul, takes care of them and works on fields as a day laborer to provide for the family.

Jaforullah and his two siblings live in a small village of Panchagarh with their mother and grandparents. His father passed away from cancer recently. His mother, Farida, takes care of them and depends on the donations of extended family members to provide for them financially.

of the following criteria are eligible to apply
for scholarships

Disabled Father

Student's father is physically unable to work

Single Mother

Student's father is deceased or has abandoned the family

Orphan

Both parents are deceased or have abandoned the child
