Fabiha Bushra, Class 1

Pitalganj Brahmankhali Government Primary School

Bushra and her older sister live in a small village of Narayanganj with their parents, aunt and uncle. Her father has been mentally challenged since suffering from a stroke recently and is unable to work. Her mother, Layla, takes care of them and depends on her uncle, who works in a nearby cotton mill to provide for the family.

Pitalganj Brahmankhali Government Primary School

Sifat and his four siblings live in a small village of Narayanganj with their mother. His father passed away from kidney related complications recently. His mother, Shahera, takes care of them and depends on his older brother, who works in a nearby carpentry store to provide for the family.

Utkura Government Primary School

Tuli and her older sister live in a small village of Panchagarh with their grandmother. Her father passed away from a stroke recently, while her mother left to start a new family soon afterwards. Her grandmother, Firoja, takes care of them and works in nearby houses to provide for the family.

Tirnoihaat Government Primary School

Julfikar lives in a small village of Panchagarh with his mother. His father passed away from cancer when he was a baby, leaving his mother to take care of him by herself. His mother, Jahanara, takes care of him and works in nearby houses to provide for the family.

Dalpatipur Government Primary School

Mursalin lives in a small village of Thakurgaon with his mother, older sister and younger brother. His father passed away recently after suffering from cancer. His mother, Tani, takes care of them and works as a helper in the local union office to support the family.

Tasnia Jahan Nur, Class 3

Rupshi Government Primary School

Tasnia and her three older sisters live in a small village of Narayanganj with their mother. Her father passed away from liver cancer when she was a baby. Her mother, Nilufa, takes care of them and depends on the donations of extended family members to provide for them financially.

Sinha Akter, Class 5

Rupshi Government Primary School

Sinha lives in a small village of Narayanganj with her grandparents, aunt and uncle. Her father passed away from a stroke when she was a baby, while her mother left soon afterwards and lives separately. Her grandmother, Ruksana, takes care of her and depends on her grandfather, who works as a street food vendor to provide for the family.

Scholarship Eligibility

Only students who are currently enrolled in Government Primary Schools and fall under any
of the following criteria are eligible to apply
for scholarships

Disabled Father

Student's father is physically unable to work

Single Mother

Student's father is deceased or has abandoned the family

Orphan

Both parents are deceased or have abandoned the child
