Shubhodra Rani, Class 4

Ghoradangi Government Primary School

Shubhodra and her older sister live in a small village of Panchagarh with their mother. Her father passed away from an undiagnosed illness recently, leaving her mother to take care of them by herself. Her mother, Bisne, works in nearby houses to provide for the family.

Khadija Begum, Class 3

Jhalingigoch 1 Government Primary School

Khadija and her two siblings live in a small village of Panchagarh with their parents and grandparents. Her father is physically disabled as he suffers from kidney failure and is unable to work. Her mother, Asma, takes care of them and works on fields as a day laborer to provide for the family.

Nur Mohammad, Class 5

Purba Holholia Government Primary School

Mohammad lives in a small village of Nilphamari with his mother, younger brother and three elder sisters. His father passed away from tuberculosis recently. His mother, Lili, takes care of the family and works in nearby houses to support them financially.

Fariha Tabassum, Class 1

Ketkibari Majhapara Government Primary School

Fariha lives in a small village of Nilphamari with her mother and two older brothers. Her father passed away in a workplace accident in Dhaka when she was a baby. Her mother, Sabina, takes care of them and works as a small-scale farmer, raising a few chickens and selling their eggs to provide for them financially.

Krishno Rai, Class 3

Shaheed Muktijoddha Government Primary School

Krishno lives in a small village of Panchagarh with his mother, grandparents and aunt. His father left him when he was a baby and does not keep in touch. His mother, Suravi, takes care of him and works in nearby houses to provide for the family.

Rubina, Graduating batch 2025

Badeswaribari Government Primary School

Rubina lives in a small village of Panchagarh with her mother. Her father passed away from cancer very recently, leaving her mother to take care of her by herself. Her mother, Nahar, works on farms as a day laborer to provide for the family.

Monjur Elahi Mifta, Graduating batch 2026

No. 38 K.A.D Atlapur Government Primary School

Mifta and his sister live in a small village of Naryanganj with his mother. His father passed away recently from a brain haemorrhage and his mother has been taking care of him single-handedly ever since. Mifta's mother works as a day laborer to provide for the family.

Sree Bhumika Ray, Graduating batch 2026

Badeswaribari Government Primary School

Bhumika and her older sister live in a small village of Panchagarh with their grandmother, aunt and uncle. Her father passed away from cancer recently. Her uncle, Mahen, takes care of them and depends on her mother, who works in a sewing factory in Dhaka city to provide for the family.

Scholarship Eligibility

Only students who are currently enrolled in Government Primary Schools and fall under any
of the following criteria are eligible to apply
for scholarships

Disabled Father

Student's father is physically unable to work

Single Mother

Student's father is deceased or has abandoned the family

Orphan

Both parents are deceased or have abandoned the child
