Nabila Jannat, Class 2

Shitalpur Government Primary School

Nabila and her older sister live in a small village of Thakurgaon with their mother, grandmother, aunt and uncle. Her father left them recently and does not keep in touch, while her mother was born blind and is unable to work. Her mother, Fansi, takes care of them and depends on her uncle, who works as a rice farmer to provide for the family.

Arnisha Akter, Class 4

Shingroad Joydhorbhanga Government Primary School

Arnisha lives in a small village of Panchagarh with her grandparents and uncle. Her parents separated recently and do not keep in touch. Her grandmother, Momana, takes care of her and depends on Arnisha's grandfather, who works as a farmer to provide for the family.

Rifat, Class 3

No. 38 K.A.D Atlapur Government Primary School

Rifat and his younger brother live in a small village of Narayanganj with their mother and grandmother. His father left them recently and does not keep in touch. His grandmother takes care of them and depends on his mother, Nasrin, who works in a nearby sewing factory to provide for the family.

Shingroad Joydhorbhanga Government Primary School

Taslima and her three siblings live in a small village of Panchagarh with their parents. Her father lost his leg in a work place accident when she was a baby and is now unable to work. Her mother, Shahina, takes care of them and works as a day laborer to provide for the family.

Shahrina Akter, Graduating batch 2026

Shingroad Joydhorbhanga Government Primary School

Shahrina and her younger sister live in a small village of Panchagarh with their mother and grandparents. Her father left them recently and does not keep in touch. Her grandfather, Solaiman, takes care of her and depends on Shahrina's mother, who works in Dhaka city to help provide for the family financially.

Scholarship Eligibility

Only students who are currently enrolled in Government Primary Schools and fall under any
of the following criteria are eligible to apply
for scholarships

Disabled Father

Student's father is physically unable to work

Single Mother

Student's father is deceased or has abandoned the family

Orphan

Both parents are deceased or have abandoned the child
