Samiul Islam, Class 4

Chilapara Government Primary School

Samiul lives in a small village of Panchagarh with his grandparents. His parents left him with his grandparents when he was a baby and went to live separately in Dhaka city. His grandmother, Jolekha, takes care of him and depends on his grandfather, who works as a vendor selling brooms to provide for the family.

Mohammad Rakib, Class 4

Chilapara Government Primary School

Rakib and his two sisters live in a small village of Panchagarh with their grandmother. His mother passed away from cancer recently, while his father left to start a new family soon afterwards. His grandmother, Rupban, takes care of them and works in nearby houses to provide for the family.

Jannatun Akter, Class 3

Chandanbari Government Primary School

Jannatun lives in a small village of Panchagarh with her aunt and grandparents. Her parents separated when she was a baby and left to start new families of their own. Her grandfather, Kasir Ul, takes care of her and depends on her grandmother, who works on fields as a day laborer to provide for the family.

Sadikul Islam, Class 1

Baruapara Government Primary School

Sadikul and his sister live in a small village of Panchagarh with their mother and grandparents. His father left them when he was a baby and does not keep in touch. His mother, Sefali, takes care of them and depends on his grandfather, who works on farms as a day laborer to provide for the family.

Scholarship Eligibility

Only students who are currently enrolled in Government Primary Schools and fall under any
of the following criteria are eligible to apply
for scholarships

Disabled Father

Student's father is physically unable to work

Single Mother

Student's father is deceased or has abandoned the family

Orphan

Both parents are deceased or have abandoned the child

Your scholarship is transferred to your student's mother automatically through mobile banking.
